On May 22nd, 2007 at 8.08 am Nepalese-time Werner Berger realized his dream and stood on top of the world, the summit of Mount Everest. Werner is the oldest North American to have stood atop the summit of Mt. Everest, and the fourth oldest person in the world to have accomplished this feat. Werner is also the oldest North American to have completed the 'Seven Summits'….the highest point on the seven continents. His secret: enjoy a balanced life - and especially your occupation. Werner Berger returned to North America on June 3, 2007 and was interviewed by Matt Lauer on The Today Show on Monday, June 4th.
